Our Mission

The mission of the Sophia Center for Life Studies is to create a learning & service community based on evolving insights from the diverse spiritual practices and beliefs of our individual members. Drawing upon a threefold imagination of the human being as body, soul and spirit, the Center offers programs that seek to educate the head, heart and hand. The Center provides education and experiences designed to support the needs, potentials and questions of individuals, wherever they find themselves on life’s path. In all of its endeavors, the Center strives to encourage a reverence for the human spirit, the earth, and the cosmos.

Sounds great, but how exactly do we do that?

The Sophia Center for Life Studies supports initiatives that address various stages of human development. Humankind evolves and grows based on widely differing experiences, abilities, privileges, and challenges. Our focus is on holistic education and whole-hearted growth from cradle to coffin.
